Our story begins while our Founder, Manex Ibar, was deep in his apprenticeship and shamanic initiations with his teachers, studying plants, and the medicinal and healing benefits, that the natural world has to offer. Fascinated by the interaction of Nature, science, and human beings, and the magic that occurs when they come together; he dedicated much of his time to observing Nature, and himself, and the relationship between the two. He gained a profound understanding of the balance found naturally throughout the Earth, and realized that it was humans who often had an aspect of complicated mental activities, which led to imbalance. He witnessed that modern society, was deeply disconnected with the Earth, and yet dependent on it when disease arose, as all medicine stems from Nature itself. Guided by his incredible teachers deeper into this understanding, Manex began to activate his clairvoyant capabilities, and perfected his gift of sensing and seeing energy. As his practice developed, and he began guiding and healing others, he utilized his knowledge of the nine energetic centers or chakras, and saw that by balancing these, he could achieve transformative results in their lives. Immersing himself deeper into energetic and frequency medicine, he sought to raise awareness of the human energetic evolution that had occurred throughout history, from the five to the seven chakra humans of ancient times, to our current nine center being, and our continued journey to the eleven, and ultimately, twelve chakra form. Each of the chakras are vital centers that process energy, consciousness, and the physical occurrences. They process whatever experience comes to us, effecting our energy body, as it either moves and works it’s way through us, or we find resistance and difficulty with one or more of our energetic centers, and we begin to experience blocks, or traumas that create imbalance, and ultimately the physical manifestation of disease.
As Manex worked with people’s energetics and centers, he saw the impact it made, not only emotionally and psychically, but physically and spiritually. So he started looking for different tools that would help balance the energy system, because it was so critical to supporting and healing imbalance and disease; which was simply the misalignment of not being at ease with one’s own nature, and the natural world. What he found over the following 15 years was that different essential oils complemented each energy center, and that there were specific oils that worked well for multiple centers, because of their shared connection. To provide this offering for his clients, he found he was carrying up to 60 bottles of essential oils for a single session. As he worked with various essential oil brands, he found many of the companies failed to provide the quality, therapeutic-grade products that would have the impact he was looking for. He envisioned an energetically conscious oil, beyond what was available through standard suppliers; so he sought out the best producers, who focused on the seed all the way to the bottle, who maintained a standard of planting, harvesting, and manufacturing that honored the magical essence of the oil, and the plant’s consciousness. So the Vital Essence Oil kit was created, to support the full frequency of each of the nine energetic centers or chakras, with the intention that by rebalancing, we find harmony, and the ability to shift into our optimal state.
Each bottle contains nine to eleven different plant essential oils, and holds an incredible amount of plant wisdom and information. Our essential oils are primarily wildcrafted or grown with organic and biodynamic methods. Some of our buildings are constructed in the golden ratio, along with our canisters which distill and hold the oils; and we bring in different energy tools to augment the frequency of our essential oils. We utilize different sounds and symbols, to keep the frequency of each oil, at the highest it can possibly be. The nine essence oils were designed to be used daily to maximize the benefits. They were built with different colors, numbers, and names, that work with your subconscious mind, and your energy system. Each day you can see which one is attracting you, and use the oil (or two or three) intuitively, and depending on the day, you’ll see that you have the support for the exact experience that you were confronted with, as life is mysterious and constantly changing. So as the days progress, we can rebalance ourselves, and gain the energetic and physical support to take on any challenge that life presents us; and when we might find ourselves in the midst of a challenge, using the oils at night can also help us process that information through our sleep.
Even though the Vital Essence Oils were created for the frequency of the energetic centers, smelling their aroma and engaging the olfactory system is a vital process in how the oils work with our bodies, and our psychoemotional and spiritual interactions. The scent goes straight into the limbic system via the olfactory bulb, which is one of our primal ancient parts of the brain, this in turn is linked to the nervous system; and so by clearing, relaxing, and working with the limbic system, we calm our fears and our nervous system. When it’s in a state of stress, all other systems are compromised as well. The aromas of the oils will often bring memories into our awareness, and as we notice this we can see whether they were pleasant or not, and why we reject certain smells. Usually we find, that the scents that repel us, have a trauma or unpleasant memory attached; while those we gravitate towards bring us happiness, and joy. In both scenarios, the plant offers its medicine and senses that we are in need of that that essence.

Following in his father’s footsteps as a renowned physicist; Manex graduated from NYU as a Tonmeister sound engineer, with a minors in physics and math, combining his love of music and science. His teachings follow course, as deeply grounded and logical, appealing to even the most scientific mind. Manex has truly mastered spiritual concepts and can communicate them easily and plainly, bridging the spiritual and physical dimensions, so that you can truly understand and apply them in your daily life.
Early in his career as a young executive and Vice President of New Media and Technologies at Sony, Manex pioneered the digitization of some of today’s most recognizable brands. He went on to form non-profit organizations which partner with UNESCO, and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), developing sustainability awareness and media programs with the Ansel Adams Foundation, National Geographic, and Indigenous Peoples.
Initiated from a young age in Northern California in the shamanic, metaphysical, and plant path, her call to awaken, like many, came in the form of physical illness. It was through this experience she understood the cosmic and planetary influence of disease. She came to realize that the crystallization of physical imbalance in the body is rooted in the spiritual and energetic lessons and design, unique to each individual. She believes that our relationships with plants, as intelligent messengers of the cosmos, exists to facilitate our soul’s development, and evolution of our consciousness. As a conduit, she is a carrier of their medicine, facilitating their healing and gifts to others.
A graduate of Parson’s The New School for Design, where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration, Victoria has studied extensively through The Herbal Academy’s clinician certificate program, and The School of Evolutionary Herbalism.
